The Team

Alexander George (Founder)

Alex founded G2G in February 2008 with a friend and fellow graduate from the London School of Economics. He has previous experience in organising high profile events from his time as President of the LSE Question Time Society. Alex read International History at the LSE and was awarded a Student Union’s Honorary Studentship and Gold Award for his work with Question Time. He is currently training as a lawyer with an international law firm in London and has previously interned with ‘The New Indian Express’ newspaper and a United States congressman.

Sam Cranston (Events Director)

Sam joined G2G as an intern in 2008 whilst reading Politics and International Relations at the University of Wales, Swansea. After graduating in 2009, Sam became a partner in G2G and its Events Director. He has previous experience in organising large scale events including the Welsh Varsity Boat Race 2009. Sam has previously interned with an MP and with public affairs companies in London. He is currently a political researcher.
